Serving Netteswell

In April 2012 we started meeting in the Netteswell ward believing that we have been called to serve the residents of this area.  Following a community survey carried out in the summer of that year we have started the following initiatives.

Netteswell Neighbour

A community magazine for the Netteswell ward produced three to four times a year and distributed to a growing number of homes in the area.  For more information click here.

Rainbow Club

On most Mondays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm a valiant team of volunteers organises ‘The Rainbow Club’ a chance for elderly folk to get together, enjoy developing friendships, play some games and enjoy light refreshments.

The group meets at St Michael’s Close common room.  The group is run in partnership with Rainbow Services.

If you live in Netteswell you may well receive a visit from us.  We are in the process of visiting as many of the 3,000 or so properties as we can, to introduce ourselves, answer any questions and provide information about Freshwaters and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
